Design Elements
When I was designing this site, I took into consideration a set of design elements as the following:
Consistency: I designed all of the site's pages to be consistent in terms of layout, color, font, page length, navigation, header, content, and footer.
Legibility: Legibility: According to Lynch and Horton (2011), "Good typography depends on the visual contrast between one font and another, as well as among text blocks, headlines, and the surrounding whites pace." Therefore, I used appropriate fonts in terms of type and size in order to be clear and readable.
White Space: According to Lynch and Horton (2011), "Filling all the white space on a page is like removing all the oxygen from a room." Therefore, I used sufficient white space to avoid crowding the edges of the browser windows with important elements of your page content.
Page Width and Length: I used the appropriate width and Length for all my site's pages in order to comfort the readers.
